Add Color and Style with Pop Art
Pop Art Adds Color and Style to Your Meeting
Tired of the same old décor at meetings?
Shackman Associates New York recommends incorporating Pop Art!
Pop Art is an art movement that emerged in the mid 1950s in Briatian and in the late 1950s in the United Staes. Pop art presented a challenge to traditions of fine art by including imagery from popular culture such as advertising, news, comics, etc. In Pop art, material is often visually removed from its known context, isolated, or combined with unrelated material.
Product labeling and logos figure prominently in the imagery chosen by pop artists, like in the Campell's Soup Can labels, by Andy Warhol.
We recently added life and more eyeballs to a meeting function with images, creative centerpieces and even a dress themed after the king of pop art – Andy Warhol. When choosing an artistic theme for a meeting or event, think about how it fits your destination, corporate identity, or goals of the meeting.
Andy Warhol was one of many talented modern artists who have called New York City home, so he fit right in with our group!
