THE LION KING CAST DELIGHTS SPECIAL GUESTS

Event Production Company:
The Offstage Group
City:
New York, NY

The Offstage Group designed an intimate interactive afternoon program for financial traders and their families around one of Broadway’s most revered shows, The Lion King.  The event began with premium seats to the matinee performance of Broadway’s hit classic, and a personal viewing of the puppets and stars. During intermission each family used their pre-purchased vouchers for an array of snacks and beverages and souvenir playbills.

This delightful show was chosen because of its visual and musical majesty but also because the members of the cast are known for their graciousness and fun personalities.

Following the performance, guests were escorted to a restaurant close to the theatre where an abundant buffet of child-friendly hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts awaited them.   Within minutes of arriving, guests were greeted by members of a South African dance troupe complete with leopard skins and spears.  This talented troupe performed several high-energy numbers for the guests and the audience was spellbound.

And then….the cast arrived!  Guests gave them an ovation and were enthralled as each cast member gave a brief description of their role, their career and some fun backstage anecdotes about the show.  Families were treated to a show stopping finale as the cast performed several songs from the show and taught the children an interactive song and dance combination in Zulu.

The guests now look forward to their annual Broadway outing designed by The Offstage Group.
